egg tempera and gesso on wood panel, the oklad chiefly decorated with chased and repousse designs, two angels hold a Christ's veil, the face of Christ is flanked by Mother Mary and Saint Nicholas on either side, Christ's halo decorated with cloisonné enamel of geometric design, the corners of the flowery border with applied polychrome cloisonné enamel spandrels on gilt-silver ground.
