LOT NOTES
Nina Aleksekevna Sergeeva was one of the most important proponents of the Moscow Impressionist School. She studied at the Kharkov Art Academy and later at the Surikov Art Insitute in Moscow, under Igor Grabar. She exhibited widely including at the All-Union Exhibitions in Moscow in 1950 and 1951. Sergeeva had numerous solo exhibitions in both Russia and abroad, and her works are in the permanent collections of Tretyakov Museum, the Neue Pinakothek in Munich, and many others.
