The oklad chased and repoussé with the spandrels applied with plaques of elaborate cloisonne enamel decorations, openwork halos surround heads of virgin and Christ child; the oklad struck with the maker`s mark initials in Cyrillic S.G., 84 standard. Egg tempera and gesso on wood panel. Two insert splints on the top and bottom edges. 17.8 x 14.3 cm (7 x 5 5/8 in.)
